Goto SE80 transaction

Select PACKAGE

Enter the name

Assign it to transport & activate.

Give the package name and press create button.

1. Go to SE80

2. In Repository Browser select Package from drop down and write your own package name starting with "Z" in text box below it.

3. Press Enter. It will ask for creating an object click yes.

4. then it will ask for transport request give if any

5. otherwise create new by clicking Own Request button and then Create new one.

In my system SE21 is not working and there is no direct repositiry brwser displaying

In SE80 go in Utilities --> settings

in workbench general TAB --> select "Repository Information" and ENTER.

in work bench general tab there is no repository browser

its only showing a "display back ground picture "

Hi,

U can create the ackage using se80 tcode.In that u have to go in "Repository Browser".

If u r not able to see repository browser then follow the following steps -

go to the menu

Utilities->Settings

there in workbench tab select the Repository Browser.

then one screen will appear there in left hand side select the package thenin below there will be one more text box enter the package name u want there.

Now press enter it will ask to create.then create it...

it's a happy ending......

Hi,

I am telling you all these according to ECC5.0 and 6.0.

Ask your BASIS or Administror guy to configure it. It may be not configured.

Ok do one thing go to tcode se80 first.

there below title bar u will see a button called ' Edit Object ' ,click on that.

one pop-up will appear.there u select ' Development Coordination tab '.

It will show u package test box ,enter the name of package u want to create,

and then below of that pop-up window there is create buttton ,click on that .now u will be able to create the package..

Hi,

Goto Tcode SE80 and choose Development class in dropdown list and type your package name in text box below.

If it doesnt exist in the system ,it will ask you want to create ? then you choose create/yes button.

it will ask details like

Development class ZPKG

Short text temp

Transport layer ZDN3

Person responsible yourid

Software component HOME Customer developments

Appl. component

and press save button.it will workbench Transport request number.you give cts and save.

activate thru se80.

Thats all simple procedure.

check if u r authorized for SE21, else goto SE80, give ur package name and click on find. i will ask u to create one since it does not exist
