How to assign a Custom function Module to Custom Function Group

Hi Experts,

I am trying to assign a custom module to a function group. But the concern is the FM is already assigned to "XXXX" custom function group where as i am trying to assign it to "yyyy" custom function group.

Is it possible to assign it to other Function Group ?

Is there any possibility to change the name of already existing Custom Function Group ?

Pls help me..

Hi Priyanka,

please check in below way.

Goto SE37 - Type your FM and see in application toolbar Reassign  Button will be there .Click the Reassign button and  Reassign or Go to Menu - > Function group - > Change Function Group. 

Now if u want to delete the old Function group than  u can go to SE80 give the old Function group name and delete that.

It will work.

Thanks for the reply..

Here we are trying to control function Group through S_DEVELOP authoirzation object. The authorization object field for Function group is alloing only a character length of 8, where as the function group max length can be 26 alphanumaric character long..

This is where we are unable to connect with the exact gap between the both.

Pls through some inputs.
