Hi Experts
How many Database Interfaces are there in an Appln Server ? ( each dialog work process has a database interface )
Is the structure of every work process same ?(Dialog , Update , Enqueue , Bkgnd etc)
Can anyone provide me with diagrams of each Work Process if its different . (Link will also do).
And where does the ABAP Dictionary reside in Appln Server ?
Thanks
Jimmy

Hi,
The strucuture of a workprocess irrespective of its type is same.
There will be one database interface for each workprocess. There will be only one Enque worprocess for the application server.
ABAP Dictionary is nothing but repository of objects and this will be stored in the Repository. All the programs all the objects are repository objects and will be stored in the database but for fast access they are retrived and put in application server buffer.
Regards,
Sesh
