Hi,

Did you check the version management..

Go to SE38..Display the program..In the menu..UTILITIES -> VERSIONS -> VERSION MANAGEMENT..

There you can compare the core between versions..

Thanks,

Naren

Hi,

Then you must be having only one version. It must be showing you following message "There are no versions in the version database."

Hi I can understand now....

With version control you will not able to recover data loast duing the editing if you have not created a transport request. You can switch beween active and inactive versions but can not able to retrive data once you have activated the program after last change....

hi MICK,

if there is only one version in the current system, you can do a remote compare to check if there is a different version in the other system (like comparing test system object with development system.

1->click on remote comparison button

2->enter the target system name (or the RFC destination name)

3->choose the version available and again click remote comparison button,

Hope this helps.

Hi,

Ifyou have done a transport to the QA system, and you have done changes in the Dev system,

execute

SE39 and compare the versions in different systems.

You will get a split display and there are pushbuttons on the toolbar to compare the versions.

Subramanian
