Hello friends,
I need to de-activate a transaction, or, if not possible, de-activate the program behind it (without deleting'em). But don't know how. So, any ideas please?
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
You can create authorization object and assing it to your trasaction. Providing no one has this object added to his/her roles trasnaction will become non-executable. However you still can run the program itself.

HI,
Please can you tell us why do you want to deactivate the transaction or report program.

hi,
There is no option like deactivation for transaction or program, instead
you can use authorization objects to restrict users access for it.
If you have any query plz be specific with exact requirement...

Is it a standard program or z-program?
If z then u can write such a condition in program which renders it un-executable...
Revert.

Ardavan,
Assuming that the transaction/program has been scheduled u can delete the settings in tcode sm36 or reschedule it to run/execute at a more desirable time.
