Hi,

when we r doing the LSMW we do the step called default all, so that all the fields will be defaulted of that table. In the Left hand side also we will see the field names like RMMG1-MATNR,RMMG1-MBRSH.

what does RMMG1 suggest and what is the significance of that?

Hi ram,

Usually you upload the data's from Table to one Transaction.

That transaction consist of mant screens.

So after you finished the field mapping LSMW displays the corresponsing Screens and their field names.

These would definitely be field names since they have been picked up from certain tables or structures these would be table or structure names.

Hi

Usually all trasactions will have table where data get updated.In this case first the data goes to a structure named RMMG1,from this structure some table will get updated.
