Help with BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE

I am trying to post a goods receipt from a PO using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE. The material document gets created, but no output form gets generated. If I do the goods receipt through MB01, everything works correctly. I have gv_bapi2017_gm_head-ver_gr_gi_slip = '1' and gt_bapi2017_gm_item-nb_slips = 1. Any thoughts?

Hi

Using the BAPI, as such, no outform will be generated. Only the Material Docuemtn will be created.

Whereas, in MB01 you can configure to get the printout once a Material Document is created.

I suggest, you to call the program associated for the output, in your program after successful creation of Material Docuemnt.

Hi !

Check out the following things:

- go to the MB03 and give it the document-number that

the BAPI created

- go to the items details and there to the "Messages"

- see if any message was created

If a message is created there may be an error during finding an output device.

If no message is created.

Set the BAPI's parameters VER_GR_GI_SLIPX and NB_SLIPSX

to 'X' and try again.

If no message (see MB03) is created check out if the version '1' in the VER_GR_GI_SLIP is your usualls used version.

If everything is correct a message should be created.

If there is one (check MB03) see again if there are any errors during finding an output device.
