We have a scenario where Orders are place through WEB to SAP, if customer exists then the order is created for that customer and if the customer does not exist then the customer is created in SAP and then order is placed for the customer. An input file is sent from WEB with the customer and order details and output file is sent back from SAP after the order is created.
We are using the function module "SD_CUSTOMER_MAINTAIN_ALL" for customer creation.
The customer creation through this function module fails once in a while(not always) with CAM error (CAM error is an exception in the function module). However when the same file is reprocessed without any changes the customer is created successfully. Hence we are not able to simulate the issue.
Please let us know if any of you have worked on interfaces of creating customer and sales order via WEB - SAP and had come across such a SAP standard exception error. If so what could be the cause of the error as we are unable to simulate the same.
