help needed in uploading ztable

Hi all,

i'm trying to upload a ztable from a tab delimited text file dynamically.

This uploads work for any ztable.

i have parametrs of ztable table and the text file path.

I have a have a field like 15.9 in my text file and i have a field in ztable to which i have to upload whose domain is dec of length 4 and decimals 1.

(later i changed it to quan of length 4 and decimals 1)--yielded same results

ASSIGN COMPONENT table-fieldname OF STRUCTURE <l_line> TO <l_field>.

<l_field> = itab-val.

i have a value of 15.9 in itab-val

now i have this statement <l_field> = itab-val.

now <l_field> = 16.

now iam moving this value to internal table and from that i am using modify statement to upload my ztable

and

i see avalue of 1.6 in my ztable.

i want to see a value of 15.9 in my ztable

check the Field Properties.
