Guide for self-defined F1 help

I need to create my own f1 help on a column in ALV grid.Please guide for the same.

hi,

f1-help works, so you get a po-up and you just want to overwrite the shown text? what i would do is, i would copy the origin data type for the column to a customer one within the se11 and create a own documentationh goto->documentation in the se11 when you maintain your data-type. then change the type in the structure of your alv.
