Hi All,

I am using SAP 4.6c version and GUi 6.40. As we had Graphical screen painter problem, new GUI 7.1 has been installed on the old SAP4.6C version. Now i am able to go to screen painter and design the screen. But the problem is when ever i am trying to access the database its giving dump, if i directly access table, or run the program or press for F4 option or anything its giving dump. Can any one tell me why this problem is occuring.

Thanks,

Raju

Hi raj008,

never try to exclude any option given for installation even if you never dreamt of using ist.

This may waste a few seconds and little additional diskspace.

My experience drove me to the conclusion, that nothing execpt the complete installation has been tested in depth. Any missing components may lead to completely unexpected and hard to be explained errors errors.

Please do a c o m p l e t e re-installation. If the problem persists, call SAP service at service.sap.com.

Regards,

Clemens
