GR reversal issue using bapi BAPI_GOODSMVT_CANCEL

Hi Experts,

I have an issue,

There is a GR with material document having 2 line items for the same material number.

Both have different storage locations.

Now in my program when I am trying to reverse the GR using bapi BAPI_GOODSMVT_CANCEL, the return table displays error "Deficit of BA Unrestr. prev. 0.050 MT : CH8020203 2105 1001 AO-DPDB".

So please suggest me the solution for this.

Hi Sanjeev,

Did you check if any follow on documents are created before you cancel. Also check the note 1586133.

Actually this is regarding the reversal just after MIGO not further. So there is no concept of Follow on Document Number here.

Did you look for OSS notes relevant for your system?

(e.g. 1586133 - Cancel Confirmation checks availability of other items also)

Hi,

Did you try to reverse the material document via MBST? If you are getting the same error there then stock might not be there at the location.

The material Document got posted using Tcode MBST. Can I have any Idea what was the issue as it was not getting reversed using the Bapi and got posted using MBST?

Hi Sanjeev,

Please check inputs to BAPI filled correctly or not. If you were able to post MBST, then you should be able to post via BAPI as well.
