GOODSMVT_CREAT question

Hello everyone

i have a material in a warehouse and i want to increase the quantity using BAPI. i have created PO for the quantity and now i'm try to use BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE to create goods receipts using Movement type 101. but i keep getting the following error "Goods movement not possible with mvmt type 101".

first am i doing right thing?

second why i keep getting this error?.

Any help will be appreciated.

are you able to post it directly from Transaction. are you passing the correct GOODSMVT_CODE . check it once.

I Tried it now

i've put the material no in the material slip (right or wrong)

and i filled the Mov type, Plant and storage location

same error

am i using the right techinuqe to update the quantity in the warehouse? or is there another way using BAPI of course.

i think good movement code is "01" , not 03. for movement type 101.

I tried 01 instead of 03 and i got the following error now.

Update control of movement type is incorrect (entry 101 X X)

i am not sure exact problem, try to ask your functional to provide a test data. they will help you in creating the posting.

also read the documentation of the function.

hi

no i didnt, i changed the GM CODE to 01, and i dont get any error now but nothing is happening in the database of course i'm doing TRANSACTION_COMMIT.

i have no problem with the PO but the GOODSMVT_CREATE is not working
