Hello All,
I am trying to download SAP note from SNOTE t code, but getting the below error,
" Error in remote connection to destination SAPOSSS: Error when opening an RFC connection"
I am an SAP ABAP Developer and new to Basis and have to solve it by my own.
Let me know if anyone have the solution for this.
Thanks,
John.
It does not seem to be a user problem but a connection problem. Maybe you can ask your basis guys.

Hi Gejo,
never had this.
SAP system must be connected to internet. Check this.

Hello John,
As the error message tells you you need an RFC-destination called SAPOSS. I include some screenshots how it look in our system but I don't know the password for the user. If you can't get it you might consided doing the steps manually but configuring the RFC-destinatioin with the help of the basis guys might help you a lot in the future. By the way: you do all that in tra´nsaction SM59.
Best regards,

Did you make a connection test in SM59? If positive can you supply a screenshot of the error message in SNOTE, eventually with details if available.

Go to the server or access it and check if you can ping the destination of the SAPOSS-RFC-destination.
