Getting 500 internal error server E S_PROFGEN_START_AUTH 000

Dear all,

I am trying to access to some transactions such SLAW2, OA2C_CONFIG and OA2C_GRANT and I get an error message:

Message E S_PROFGEN_START_AUTH 000 cannot be processed in plugin mode HTTPS."

Have you ever seen this message? How could I solve it? I tried to find notes but i can not find any related with the error E S_PROFGEN_START_AUTH 000 .

Hi David,

we encounter the same issue. Anyway KBA 3030229 is not available any more (it says SAP-Hinweis/Wissensdatenbankartikel 3030229 wurde entfernt). Please let us know how to resolve the issue or send the content of KBA 3030229

The issue is addressed and fixed with Hotfix Collection 05, which will be released to customer systems on 21 March, 2021.
You can republish your application in Custom Catalog Extension.

Steps to republish:

1. In View Browser application, find Query for which the Web Dynpro application is created.
2. Click Application ID and click “View in Catalog”
3. Select Business Catalog and click Publish.

Workaround: You can follow the steps illustrated in SAP Help documentation to Create Business Role from Template.

Provide template : SAP_BR_BUDGET_SPECIALIST or SAP_BR_BUYER. Now, add the created role to your user, which fixes the 500 Internal Server Authorization Error and will enable the user to access the WebDynpro application.

in August 2024, I ran into this when I invoked TA SOAMANAGER. I could solve this with the help of TA SU53 and TA PFCG 😁

Indeed, good hint that this is just a missing authorization.

I came across this error while navigating from /UI2/FLPAM to the transaction code creation with SUI_TM_MM_UI5_TX. The authorization for this app was missing in die standard Fiori Administrator Role SAP_FLP_ADMIN.
