Get values back from search help

Any way to get the values back from a search help?

We have many customized search helps with function exits.

When user presses F4, it is okay. But if they type the value, it should be the one from search help. Do not want to code that functionality.

Any advice experts?

Hi Aishi ,

Seach help can not validate a field value , it only proposes the value.

To validate a field you need to go for the Foreign KEY Relationship and for that

create a check table make the relationship for that field .
