Generic Data source .

Dear All ,

I am in process of creation /Change of data source for BW extraction.

I have created a Generic data source by using Infoset and after that INFOSET is chaged for some fields , Now I want that changes in Infoset should reflect in my data source.

Please Guid me , for Above query How to achieve the same.

Hi Pravin Kusumbe,

Go to RSO2 and enter your data source and Display. In the next screen , double click on the Infoset and SAP will take you to the Infoset. Save Infoset with new fields / logic. Generate Infoset (Shift+F6). Back.

After this Check your data source in RSA6 whether the fields you added / changed is being reflected.

Next go to your BW system and right click your data source and click on Replicate.

Whola. ...done!
