Could we use ME21N transaction, and XK01 transaction, either which one of the transaction, or could we use both the transactions for creating purchase information.

XK01 is the Vendor Creation Transaction

<b>ME21N is</b> the Main Enjoy Purchase order creation transaction

it is needed to create a PO

You have to know the conept of Purchasing

We purchase goods from a vendor after placing the PO

So to purchase an item we need a Vendor, a Product and we place PO to that vendor, which in turn he supplies goods/materials to us.

XK01, MM01 is the master data creation transactions which are a must in MM/purchasing

XK01 is for Vendor creation .....

xk01 is for vendor creation and mm01 is for material creation.

for creating the purchase order u need vendor and materials.

hi,

use ME21 for purchase order creation no need to use Xk01 .it is for vendor master creation.

ME21N is an enjoy transaction which was introduced in the Enjoy release 46c. It contains frontend controls which the BDC does not get along with very nicely. ME21 is the older version of the purchase order create and does not contain these controls, but anything that can be done(for the most part) in ME21N can be done in ME21.
