I dont know the procedure for projects, but i know for a report..

Create a program with the same name as earlier (which is deleted)

Click on "Utilities" --> "Versions" --> "Version Management"

Select the version of your earlier program and click on display.

Your earlier program is displayed here.

Hi,

If you delete the Report or Project once it is GONE totally!

You can't retrive it.

If at all you made some changes then using the version management you can retrive your old version.

But Once deleted means it is totally deleted from repository (in the case of reports)

Where as Forms/Scripts there is a chance that if it exists in other client that won't get deleted. Where as Programs/Reports are global (client Independent)and are deleted from all clients.

Anji

DON'T YOU THING THAT SAP IS SUCH POWERFUL SOFTWARE THAT IT MUST HAVE THE RETRIEVAL OR TRASH SYSTEM LIKE THE WINDOWS.

IT SHOULD HAVE SOME FLEXIBILITY TO SUCH TYPE OF ERROR.

EVEN WINDOWS XP IS HAVING OPTION TO RETRIEVE DATA ONCE IT IS DELETED FROM RECYCLEBIN.MAY BE IT IS THE CONCERN OF BASIS PEOPLE.BUT MY INSTINCT STRONGLY BELIEVES THAT THERE IS SOME WAY TO OVERCOME THIS SITUATION.
