functional query

hi experts,

i have a doubt may be related to SAP functional. normally in SD, we create a sales order w.r.t a purchase order placed by customer. this is just an identification number. Fields is VBAK-BSTNK.

what i want to know is if there is any concept like we create purchase order in our SAP system and w.r.t that we create a Sales order ? which means that we have a link between EKKO-EBELN and VBAK-BSTNK.

give ur ideas.

Basically, we used to the particular concept for movements from warehouse to distribution centre(internal documents). In short the configuration was that goods from Factory goes to Warehouse and from there via distribution centre to Customers.

Yeah u can link VBAK-VBELN = VBKD-VBELN + VBKD-BSTKD = EKKO-EBELN.
