Function to load characteristic dependencies

Hi,

does anyone know of a FM/BAPI/Method to load dependencies on a configurable material?

I need to load configurable materials with associated characteristics, values and dependencies,

it's the latter that's the sticking point.

I thought I'd ask here before I reinvent the wheel so to speak
