function to find stock for posting date

hello all,

i need to find a function that calculate open/close stock for each month.

i know that there is a transaction - mb5b - but in our case it doesnt help us.

we tried to work with table mardh - but we dont know how the table work.

is anyone can help us?

Hi, May be u need to use MSEG and consider all the movement types and add/subtract depending on the movement type to arrive at the stock on a particular date. Hope this helps
