Function Pool & Function Group

Hi Abapers,

I need some information regarding the function group & function pool are client dependant or independant ?

And where we can check it ?

Hi,

Function Pool and Function Group are one and the same thing.

Just when we view the Program for the Function Group it shows as Function Pool. When we view the Function group associated with Function Module, it displays Function group.

This can be viewed using SE37--> Goto --> Function Groups --> Display/Create/Change

The Program can be viwed using SE38.

Juts concatenate SAPL before the Function Group name and view it in SE38.

Hi,

hi,

function group is nothing having no.of function modules [ client independent]

function pool: group of function groups [ client independent]

Hi,

its client independent, u just create a zfm in one client and u will be able to acees it through all clients in a system.

hai

Supoose that u hav only one sever for the development...but u hav two client in development(120, 140)......so at that time client indipendent..if u change som code anothe client also afect that change...

if ur use two sever for the development and u hav two client seperatly... always client dipendent.... if ur change the code within one of client... not affceted the another client.....
