Function Module to move a selected image to SE78

I am trying to find a function module or some code that will allow a user to choose an image to upload to se78 and then perform that task within the code. I can pretty easily write the code allowing for selection of a file from the computer, but I cannot find really much at all about automating the se78 upload process. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
