Function Module for characteristic creation(CT04/PM)

Hi All,

Module- Plant Maintenance

Transaction: CT04 (Create characteristics)

Are there any function modules to create characteristics similar to CT04 transaction.

Also I am not able to record BDC using CT04 transaction. While recording, it goes to Change Characteristic screen
