Full ABAP Edition-Trial Problems

Hi

I have downloaded and installed the Full ABAP Edition-Trial (with Web Dynpro for ABAP!) from SDN site. However I am not able to use it, as I am getting the following error:

<b>partner not reached(host 10.10.0.10, service sapdp00)

WASECONNREFUSED: Connection refused</b>

Also in MMC i find that the Dispatcher shows the status as stopped. Initially says Running but not connected to Message Server. Its yellowin color but then suddenly stops.

I have followed all the installation prococedure which was provided, but it does not work.

Plz help me out. Helpful answers will surely be rewarded.

Hi,

I faced similar problems when am not connected to the VPN. so check if u r connected to VPN, if u have one before logging on to SAP system.

I am not connected to any VPN. Installed this on a stand alone machine.

is fire wall or any anti virus software running?

There is no firewall / antivirus running.

Is it a problem of the loopback adapter?

did you install loop back adapter? and configure it with ip address 10.10.0.10
