FTP_R3_TO_SERVER - command_error

Hi,

I'm having a problem using the function module FTP_R3_TO_SERVER.

I've opened the FTP-connection using SAPFTPA (since it's a job which needs to turn in the background). Connection is made, file is generated (excel-file). When I try to save it using this function module I receive a command error.

When I do the same using SAPFTP the file is saved without any problem.

When I change the file extension to txt, the file is also saved.

Is there anyone who can help me ?

apparently, it cannot be saved as an excel in background
