like FTP_CONNECT, FTP_R3_TO_SERVER.

You can run in the background but you need to use connection type (destination) as SAPFTPA instead of SAPFTP.

Hi Sekhar,

Yes, it is possible to schedule FTP function module in background.

To make sure, use SAPFTPA instead SAPFTP in RFC destination. Because SAPFTP run on client, and SAPFTPA run on application server.

When i am using SAPFTPA the FTP server is not connecting and it shows the error Host : xxxxxxxxxxxx not connected.

How to resolve this

For SAPFTPA RFC connection wether i want to implement any SAP note because my foreground job working for SAPFTP by implementing SAP note.

Please give a solution to my foreground job working and i added in logic SAPFTA also but file not transferring background working but file not transfer to fileZilla FTP.
