Foreign key not working....

Hi to All,

I have created 2 tables ZTX_Reward and ZTX_RewardRules.

The primary key of ZTX_Reward(i.e RewardID) is the foreign key in ZTX_RewardRules Table.

I have done all the things correctly, but still it is not validating RewardID while storing the data in ZTX_RewardRules table.

Please help me out.

Hi Ajith...

I have checked the "Check Require" field in the "Screen Check" block of the foreign key assignment.

But still no postive result.

Have you provided the check table ZTX_Reward in ZTX_RewardRules table?

after opening the foreighn key table in se11

-> click on Foreign key icon

-> Check the relation ship whether it exists or not

-> check the cardinality ( check by giving 1 in cardinality first option)

Hi Vikas,

This problem may be because you may have not checked the "Check Require" field in the "Screen Check" block of foreign key assignment.

please check thet field so that the system will check for the existence of RewardId in the ZTX_Reward table.

Hi all!!

I also faced the similar kind of problem as Vikash faced.I just followed the step by step instructions of creating foreign key relationship between two tables .But while am entering the input value to the FKey table its not validatind the data with the check table .Am using version 4.7.Can anybody help me out of this problem!!!
