FMBBC BAPI_0050_CREATE - Budget Layout

Hello Abapers,

I am using the BAPI_0050_CREATE instead of BDC on the Tcode FMBBC.

Can anyone tell me

- where in the BAPI_0050_CREATE can we input the value for the "Budget Layout" ( FMLA- LAYOUTVAR)?

- what is the importance of the Budget layout in the creation of the document?

I am sorry not to well describe my questions.

When you launch the Tcode FMBBC, there a first pop up which ask for the Controlling Area, then another popup which ask for the Budget Layout. That value for the budget layout, i can't find it anywhere to input it in the BAPI_0050_create. The Bapi is executed succesfully after the FM BAPI_transaction commit, by creating a document. But in the table FMBH, there is no value in the field LAYOUTVAR saved there..

Can anyone help me to sort out this problem, please?

You described your question just fine. I try to provide those links to members asking there first question.

I'm not sure you have to provide a budget layout for the BAPI. It seems just to be needed for the transaction. If it is needed, you can try setting paramater-id LAY to the value you need.
