FM SAP_CONVERT_TO_CSV_FORMAT - separator is wrong.

I am using FM SAP_CONVERT_TO_CSV_FORMAT and I have the field separator as a comma but when the file is exported it has the separator as a semicolon. Does anybody have any ideas why this is happening? Below is my code and a portion of the exported document:

I just tried it again but using '|' as the separator and it still comes through as a semicolon. Is it not possible to override the default?

Please try FM SAP_CONVERT_TO_TEX_FORMAT instead.

That worked like a charm. While you did answer my question I have another question relating to this FM. Is there any way to add the column titles to the csv table?

Thanks Seshu. I did not try that parameter because it looked to me like it would only accept a field of type Char01. I will try that out.

It looks like the function module calls another function module (see below) in which it passes the constant field separator which is defined as a semi colon.

Fred, I was just about to post that. It doesn't make much sense that SAP would tell you that you can change it when you really can't. This makes me want to find the developer and give him a swift kick in the butt.
