Hi Gurus,
I have found few FM;s like MD_STOCK_REQUIREMNTS_LIST_API , but they only give a list of material which has MRP requirement. I need a FM through which I can run MRP Simulation ( Transaction Code - MD03 ).

Hi Guys,
The above function module only gives results after MRP simulation is saved. ( MD04 ).
The Solution we managed to implements is do implicit enhancement in form routine SHOW_MDEZX to export MDPSX and MDEZX tables to our program and used the Available and Required Qty Values and used the same for calculation.

I assume you are going to use this in some kind of report? Can you please elaborate the need for this? What are the materials you are going to use this for - how are the materials setup (BOM)?

Hi,
My Requirement is simple, I have material and plant , I need to have a mechanism to execute MD03 in Simulation ( User does not save ) and the difference in the Required Quantity and Available Quantity will be used for calculation. So I want this simulation to work in background and give me the result without displaying the screen where simulation results are displayed.
The FM which I have mentioned above gives me Output from MD04 but does not help me Simulate MRP ( MD03 ).

It depends on your material master setup. In our case, it was pretty simple and by looking at the lot size and planning parameters I was able to do the simulation calculation myself, using the data from MD_STOCK_REQUIREMNTS_LIST_API. So, how complex is your planning?

You can try with MD_MRP_PRODUCT_GROUP or MD_MRP_SINGLE_MAT_REPLAN
