Fixed asstes uploading using LSMW direct input method

Hi,

I am trying to upload the fixed assets using direct input method(pgm RAALTD01) in LSMW. I am able to create the asstes but the Takeover values are not getting populated. I tried searching the forum and I dint get any solution. I am using only the BALTD structure. In that I am using 'KANSW01' field for 'Cumulative Accq VAl' and 'KNAFA01' for 'Accumulative Ordinary Depreciation'. But these values are not gtting reflected while I am opening the assets in AS92/AS93. If I try to enter these values manually through AS91/AS92 then these are getting saved.

Please help me if someone had faced this issue and were abble to solv this.

Try to use LSMW BAPI method instead of direct input.

Hi,

You can use the BAPI "BAPI_FIXEDASSET_OVRTAKE_CREATE". This will work....In the tables parameter CUMULATEDVALUES, you can find the fields you have mentioned.

The customer is insisting on LSMW. So is there anyway I can still do that using LSMW?

Hi Nagaraj,

I got the answer. It is necessary to populate AFABE01(Depreciation area) first. Then populate KANSW01 and similar fields.
