Fixed Asset Creation

Dear All,

I am using FM BAPI_FIXEDASSET_CREATE1 to create a fixed asset.

When i tested in SE37 with all the parameters, it gave me the new asset number.

but when i tried to see newly created asset number in AS03, i am getting message "Asset xxxxx not in company code yyy".

i have created a program & used the same above FM to create a fixed asset.

i am getting the same error.

I gave the bapi_transaction_commit also.

Pls. help me out.

Hi

Perhaps you need to export company code in the exporting parameter "KEY" of the FM.

HI Seekaran,

Is the return table empty after the call to the bapi?

I think you must be missing some information that is mandatory to create an asset.

Did you try to put the leading zero ?

You can also check new entries in ANLA with creation date !
