finding the instance number

Hi all,

Can any one help me in finding the

"Instance number within DDB (configuration) ".

Because i need to pass this instance value as the parameter for the standard function module CAVC_I_CHANGE_BOM_ITEM_DATA .

using this function module i need to clear the existing field values of pur_group,delvry_time,cost_elem,matkl_group,grp_time.

I am passing these fields only with the value ' '. but the values are not updated. Is it needed to pass any other fields along with this fields like the key field etc.

Can any one help me in this regard.

and to fm CAVC_C_GET_INSTANCES
