A Account GL analyst is differemt from a BANK process employye and a Finance manager hasmore Auth than a GL employee. I hope SOX and SOD take the biggest seat in decding this authorizations.

There is no BASIC role in Finance. There are a lot of submodules in finance like, AP, AR, GL, AA, SL, etc. Again in those roles are segregated according to company code, region, sub region, etc.
Also full authorization is never given to any single employee.
