Field STRLEN is unknow

I am working on ECC 6.0. And got this error message when I do check. Is there something I have to include in my own FM to use STRLEN function?

hi Bo,

pls. beware with the syntax:

STRLEN( abc ).

no space between N and (, space between ( and variable, space between variable and ).
