field level logging

hi.. can someone pls tel me if i will be able to log just certain fields in a table.If i can how do it do it?

no it is not possible..u can have only table level logging

No you cant...if it is just to see if the table has been changed write a select to check the existance of that value...

Hi kb,

1. If we use the se11 technical settings -

checkbox for - Log Data changes,

then we don't have any control over the fields.

2. However, if use the Change Document concept,

then we have control over the field level.

In such case, the field of those table,

whose data elements,

have the checkbox ticked - 'Change Document',

only those will be considered in change document.
