Dear All,
I am into a SAP standard table, the field length as shown for the field is Character(4).
But when i am into the SM30 transaction and try to create a new entry, it allows only 3 characters to be entered for this particular field.
Please if you could share, what could be reason for it as it doesn't allows to enter the 4 characters for that field.

hi,
Please check the domain value whether it is reduced to length 3.
Please check it once.
Activated and Adjust Database option for ur Table in SE14 Tcode..
This shoukd be done after any changes in Table at field level..
go to TMG delete the old one adjust the new one and try.

Which SAP standard table are you checking?
There are few FICO tables for which generation programs are usually run. Your functional consultant would be able to help you better.
