Hi,

you mainly use fieldname, tabname and seltext_m when filing a fieldcatalogue.

  fieldcatalog-fieldname   = 'AEDAT'.
  fieldcatalog-seltext_m   = 'Item change date'.
  
  append fieldcatalog to fieldcatalog.
  clear  fieldcatalog.

Also, You can try to use this FM: REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE

This FM creates the field catalogue completly.
