F4 description missing in Additional data -Sales order

Hello everybody,

I am facing an issue with a field 'Contract type' in Addtional data tab in Sales order creation in FR(French) Logon.

For this field, when F4 help is selected only values are coming and descriptions are missing.

But in EN(English) Logon, its coming correct.

There is no search help for this field and values are pulled based on domain level value range.

Any idea why description is not populating in this FR Logon. How to overcome this.

Are you actually sure to be connected in french, Je ne reconnais pas la version française de l'écran?

Did you check for translation of dynpro and domain value table (in menu from transactions SE51, SE41 or SE11 or transaciton SE63)

Thanks for the reply.

French users are facing this issue when they logon in FR.

Actually there is no Domain value table for this field.

F4 Values should come in English even in FR Logon like below image.

Any other way how to check ?

Logon in french and display the domain value with SE11, are they translated

Or browse table DD07T for the domain not selecting language

Or Browse VBAK with SE16N, press F4 on this field, do you get the same problem (if not problem come from your dynpro)

Also "Additional Fields" should already be "Données supplémentaires" or a shortened form of it (Sol if first screenshot came actually from a FR session, you missed some standard translation?)

Hi Raymond,

I checked domain value in SE11 and they are not translated.

Also in table DD07T without selecting any language , they still remain the same in English. Not translated.

In F4 help SE16N, I get the same problem.

As you said issue might be with the Dynpro. How to overcome with that ?

As I already wrote, ask somebody to translate the values thru SE63 or individual trasactions SE11 for domain and SE51, SE41, SE38 for program, dynpro and CUA texts. Also in dynpro insure the ddic reference is checked on fields.

HI Shiva,

The contract type is standard or custom one. In case if it is a standard one - then check if the French language pack is properly installed. In case of custom one - As Raymond suggested, someone need to manually maintained the description from SE63.
