Hi all,

When we are downloading DME from APP then we are getting the below mentioned error.

"Individual characters could not be converted from code page 4102 to P.1100" Message No.FZ219

Asper the error message we set the user parameter DCP with none and the format has been not correct even we implemented OSS note no. 970892 but it's not works anything.

Please try to give DCP value as 1404.

Yes i got it.

from System->user profile -> own data.

set the parameter as DCP and give the value as required.

if not conversion 'NONE'.

Iam facing the same error message.

Individual characters could not be converted from code page 4102 to Code Page 1100.

Message Number FZ219.

I tried to make the DCP parameter change in user area, but it didnt work.

Please suggest me a way to check this.

This is what the long text of the message states:

Diagnosis

Individual characters could not be converted from code page to code page

Procedure

If you want to convert the file to another code page before download you have to assign this code page to the user parameter DCP in your user data. If you definitely do not want any conversion then set DCP to NONE.

This is exactky what Mahesh said earlier.

So for the people on the list for which did not work, be sure that after you have said this parameter, to log off and log back on again since only then the parameters will take effect.

Thanks for your reply.

I changed the DCP parameter value to NONE. And logged off and login back again.

This time iam not getting the Codepage error but when i downloaded the file from DME using FDTA Tcode, i noticed that all the Japanese characters are garbled up (they became #).

Please let me know if i need to add my parameters like RTTO_CODEPAGE & RTTA_UNICODE etc in STARVC TCode.

I could not figure out what the problem is.

I searched for notes, but iam not getting error like before, but downloaded file is in incorrect format.

please provide me your valuable input.

We had the same issue with Czech Republic(CS Language), and we set the Code Page to '4103' at OBPM3 which worked.
