Extracting data from SAP

Hi,

The requirement is to extract transactional data out of SAP which is to the tune of 600MB.

Can i have some pointers on the data extraction techniques from R/3 for these data volumes within a duration of half an hour or so.Are there any programming or alternative techniques to achieve that?

Hi AP,

What kind of data are you extracting and for what purpose ?

If its Tax and Audit related dat. Yes you can restrict your data extraction and keep it as a flat file using Data Retention Tool (DaRT).
