BAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAIL_KEY....error while fetching batch characteristics

Hi Friends

Am facing error while using FM-BAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAIL_KEY in ECC6.0 system , while fetching batch characteristics in c060 thru F4 help on BATCH field.

Error descripion- value 00/00/0000 cannot be selected.

Kindly let me know any inputs.

in C060 tcode when you press the F4 help for BATCH , here you multiple options like

serach for batches via classes

batches for plat level

btched for material

batches for valuation type

etc

select any one of the option and try with F4 help , you will get the batch value

there is no realtion for batched and FM FM-BAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAIL_KEY.

FM-BAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAIL_KEY this will get only created characteristics names and characteristics values and characteristics descrptions
