Extending customer using LSMW

Hi,

say you have a customer CUST001, which is created for company code CO01, using XD01. SAP allows one to create the same customer for another company CO02, using XD01

it's fine when we do it directly by using XD01.

But in case of lsmw using standard program it's not being possible.

Thanks

HI Anupam,

Which method are you using for the LSMW?

Is it Batch Input?

If yes, are you mapping the new company code information to the structure: BKNB1?

Hi,

I too faced the same problem through the standard program in LSMW. So I created a recording through LSMW and used it. Its working fine now.

Since only thing u need to do is goto XD01 initial screen and give the details of the customer to be extended and in REFERENCE section give the same customer number that has been created for different company code and save it, I see that Recording method is easier and timesaving method.

Feel free to ask for any details.

Not yet.

We had only around 150 such records. Did it manually.

Thanks

Thanks.

I think there should be a solution for this kind of problem.

Extend the customer to other company code, or extend the customer to other sales area.

Who can give a suggest
