EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY in the submit statement

Hello friends,

I'm using

the option EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY in the SUBMIT statment in order to not show the output.

But I get the error message:

Exception condition "CNTL_ERROR" raised.

What can be worong ?

I think the submitted report has an ALV GRID output.

Are you submitting the program in Background mode?

YOur report that is being submitted should have normal LIST output only.

yes it has an ALV GRID as input.

What do you mean with submitting the program in Background mode?

How else can I supress the output ?

The method that you are following is correct.

Only thing is that it does not work with ALV GRID.

Instead copy the program and before the output display use your export.
