Export to Excel-Date missing

Hi All,

While exporting the data from ALV output.

Code level nothing is being changed.

Previosly while exporting to excel, in the generated excel data and the  date used to come on the left top.

Now i am getting the data alone, missing the date.

I searched in SCN but couldnot get any solution.

PFA old and new screen shots.

I have highlighted the the date in Yellow mark.

Our system get upgraded recently. Is this related.

Please suggest.

may be your SAP system is upgraded and if so then you have to search a note for that upgrade

1) What statement is used to print date?

2) Upgrade is done from what to what version?

Hi Shyam,

If you export the ALV to excel then by default you will get the date and the text "Dynamic list display".

Currently I am not getting the date and the time.

So any suggestion.

Can you please tell what is current SAP version of your system?

Check whether the date format that u are using in the Excel and the system date format are same if they are different then this kind of issue may occur.

Hi Munu,

Good day,

Enter &reset_excel into the command line (for ABAP Lists only) to reset the default Excel File Format and try to export.

Hope it may be helpful and let me know if any issues.

Hi Seshadri,

I ma using ALV grid diplay.

And the output is coming as well.

But during exporting the date and the text  'Dynamic List Display' in the file is missing which used to come by default.

Try exporting to Ecxel from ALV and you will get my issue.

When you press the Excel button, there will be a popup that lets you select different formats. Press F1 on one of the fields to help you decide which format to use.

I used to select the Export then the Spreadsheet.

The thing is that the date and text 'Dynamic List Display' in the file is missing.

So any suggetsion.

After SP upgrade we are facing with the same issue. Dynamic list display with the date and time is missing in excel files.

This line was disabled with the note correction 1912127, you can reenable this line with the implementation of the note 2090822.
