Excel attachment as email

Hi,

I developed a report that generates 2 Excel attachments to one email ID. Everything was successful. Whenever the User double clicks on the Excel file in his inbox, it gives a pop-up saying "THIS FILE IS NOT IN RECOGNIZABLE FORMAT" . Still after clicking Okay button the Excel file opens.

Still the user don't want to see the pop up. Can anyone help me in fixing this.

Am using FM - SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1.

Can you explain me how you solved this. I have the same problem as yours and I am using function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 to send the excel attachment
