ESS appraisal

Hello there

How do we give authorisation to ESS-user so that they can create their own Course Appraisal in Employee Desktop?

Our current values in P_HAP_DOC are these:

ACTVT: 02, 03

HAP_TEMPL: Course Appraisal template number

PROFL: <blank>

But the system trace is asking for the following values:

ACTVT: 02

HAP_TEMPL: Course Appraisal template number

PROFL: ALL

I thought we never need to assign structural profile for ESS, or is there an exception?

Our HAP00 AUTHO is active.

Have you assigned required rfc's and transactions such as pp_my_app in the role? Does it work if you enter * in the PROFL?

There is a little contradiction there, dont you think?

No. Because we are using both rfc's and transactions to do appraisal in ESS. RFC is used to get the

course catalog information.

Thanks guys, I am getting direct help from SAP regarding this. It's a bit more than just the RFC and the profile, quite a sticky case for us. Thank you for your helpful answers though, I appreciate it!
