Hello,

I am trying to use CLMM to mass assign characteristic values for batches (class type 023). I am getting the following errors:

CL521: STOP - Object type MCHA not defined as classifiable object"

I have tried to search for any oss notes or other documentation on this - but none has helped so far.

Appreciate all help.

Thanks.

Check MCHA exist in SPRO->Cross-application components->Classification system->classes->Maintain object types and class types.

It's standard entry, may be it got deleted, create it from another system.

Hi Sridhar,

Thanks for the quick reply.

MCHA exists in the object table. It is associated to class type 023. Also, the objects below exist under the class type 023:

BDO_LIPS

KONDH

LIPS

MARA

MARM_WS

MCH1

MSEG

RESB

STPO

TBIC_SC

VBAP

I checked in another system as well - the entries are the same.
